Unlike traditional image enhancement services that rely on cloud-based processing, MakoRevive is architected to perform all computations directly on your hardware. When you restore or colorize a photograph, the underlying AI models execute locally within your device's secured environment. We do not maintain servers capable of viewing, storing, or analyzing your media. This engineering choice ensures that your most personal memories remain exactly where they were intended to be: under your absolute control.
We have intentionally omitted any tracking, analytics, or crash-reporting SDKs from the MakoRevive codebase. Our development team does not receive session logs, feature usage statistics, or device identifiers. Because we do not collect this information, we have no database to secure and no personal data to share with third parties. We treat privacy not as a legal checkbox, but as a core technical constraint that dictates how we build our software.
While MakoRevive is a non-tracking application, it utilizes your network connection in two specific, user-transparent instances. To keep the initial application download efficient, the app must connect to our distribution servers on first launch to retrieve the necessary neural network models. Additionally, if you choose to export your results through the system share menu, the selected third-party service will utilize your internet connection to transmit that file. Outside of these two scenarios, MakoRevive remains entirely self-contained and operates without any requirement for external communication.
For specialized tasks such as face detection, we leverage high-performance runtimes like Google ML Kit. We have configured these tools to operate in a strictly localized mode, ensuring that all detection and analysis are performed on-device without data transmission. This allows us to provide professional-grade results while maintaining a firewall between your private data and the outside world.
MakoRevive is designed to meet and exceed global privacy standards, including the GDPR, CCPA, and COPPA. Our compliance is not achieved through complex legal frameworks or data-access requests, but through the simple fact that we possess no user data to begin with. By removing the possibility of data collection at the source, we provide a level of security that traditional privacy policies can only promise.
